Petronas Twin Towers – night view

The Petronas twin towers is an iconic structure in Malaysia. At present, it is the tallest twin towers in the world at a height of 451.9 metres(88 floor towers). They were designed by Argentine-American skyscraper specialist César Pelli, a world renowned architect who also designed New York City’s World Financial Center.

The Skybridge that connects the two towers is the highest two story bridge in the world. It connecting the two towers on the 41st and 42nd floors. The twin towers was built to house the headquarters of Petronas, the national petroleum company of Malaysia.

At the feet of the Petronas towers is a shopping mall-Suria KLCC. It features mostly foreign luxury goods and high-street labels.

Within the Suria KLCC precinct lies the KLCC Park, a 50-acre urban garden. The park features jogging track, children playground, mosque, man made lake with water fountain that incorporated light show every night.

Madam Kwan’s – KLCC

If you are not sure where to have meal in KLCC, let me recommend to you Madam Kwan’s. This restaurant serves Malaysian foods and there is always a long queue during peak meal times. The prices is on the higher side, about 2-3 times what you normally pay at hawker stall, but if you compare about dining in the comfort of a cafe-style restaurant and having a delicious food it is worth spending extra money.

Now, let’s enjoy the food photos.

‘With Petang Raya, I knew I wanted the press to take the news to print, not just for other customers but also for other designers. I wanted to say, ‘copy my clothes’- get new ideas, get inspired, and think beyond four meters of material!. Today, every Malaysian designer has a Raya collection, and that was my vision’-Bernard Chandran.

Fall Sick While Travelling

I was back from the Osaka trip for more than 2 weeks now. I didn’t manage to enjoy the experience as I was already not feeling well a few days before the trip. True enough, I had fever on the 2nd night. I was shivering that I had to sleep in my full winter attire, I blamed the heater for not functioning well. I started to lose my appetite, I felt yucky every time I see food.

On the concert day, I was so weak and famished. I still went to the concert but end up sleeping for the entire time. Luckily the next day was my flight back, I slept at the airport & during entire journey in the flight. I still can’t eat.

The next day was Monday, I was supposed to go to work but I had a high fever and vomiting. I went to clinic, my temperature was 39°C I had fever, headache, muscle and joint pains & I kept vomiting even I don’t eat anything. The doctor said if this persist, will need to take blood check.

The 3rd day, I was still not recover. The doctor did the blood check, I was diagnosed with dengue. My blood palette was low and its dangerous. Dengue doesn’t has medicine to cure, you need to drank a lot of water & juices, make sure eating health food. Its sound so easy, rite? Unfortunately for me its so difficult as I can’t keep the food for 5 minutes in my stomach, I kept vomiting the everything. I suffered a lot, its took me for 1 week to recover.

{Lesson Learned}

  • Dengue can lead to death
  • Different between hungry and famish
  • Family love
